Nashely Rodriguez
Licensed Professional Counselor
Hi! I am Nashely, a proud Latin Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Lycoming College and my Master’s of Art’s in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University.
My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I am experienced and passionate about providing trauma informed treatment and helping improve your quality of life.
Does your child or adolescent struggle to express or manage their emotions? Are you concerned about your child's self-esteem or social skills? Has your child or teen experienced grief, loss, or trauma? Are you concerned your child or teen is depressed or anxious? I use evidence-based strategies to help children and teens process and navigate through a wide range of emotional challenges, such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and low-self esteem. When working with children and teens I use play, art, music, and movement. Through the power of play, I strive to create a safe environment where children can freely express themselves, as traditional “talk therapy” generally doesn’t work well with children because kiddos process their experiences differently than adults. I also utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy with teens to teach skills and strategies that can be used daily to help manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe that collaboration with caregivers is a vital aspect of my work. I aim to establish strong partnerships with families, providing you with guidance, support, and resources to effectively support your child's emotional well-being beyond our sessions.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, binge watching shows, and spending time with family and friends.
